HAMPTON ROADS
The first settlers to America landed in Virginia Beach in 1607, erected a cross, and named the spot Cape Henry. Nestled in the South Eastern Coast of Virginia, Virginia Beach is part of the greater Tidewater Region, an area known to locals as "Hampton Roads."

Virginia Beach is the fastest growing city on the East Coast and the largest city in the state with nearly half a million residents. It is expected to surpass 500,000 in the near future. A Wall Street Journal article named Virginia Beach a "Boom Town of the 90s." It is the 34th largest city in the United States. While Virginia Beach is a thriving city, it is also known for its southern hospitality. It combines a family friendly atmosphere with vigorous economic growth.
Wave Leadership College is located ten minutes from the beautiful Virginia Beach oceanfront to the east and five minutes from the Chesapeake Bay to the north. The area is known for its pristine beaches and rich historical character. The beach area offers many attractions for students. There is simply no better place to pursue your destiny!
WAVE LEADERSHIP COLLEGE COMPLEX
WLC is part of the ever-expanding complex of Wave Church located on 52 acres of land in Virginia Beach. The college campus includes an auditorium, a café, a bookstore, an office complex, and youth auditorium. In 2004 Wave Church dedicated the EPI Center, which stands for Education, Power, and Influence. Further expansion was realized with the construction of Wave Convention Center in 2008. The facilities combine for over 120,000 square feet of office, classroom and worship space with state-of-the-art equipment throughout.
Presently WLC meets in various rooms within the complex. The library is located in the convention center and includes quiet study areas. WLC is committed to adding new equipment and updating our technological capacity, and we are actively working to make Wave Leadership College a modern learning experience.
